Re[3]: Non-Payer: Wagner Consulting International
I'm happy to hear that some of the people who have worked with Wagner have had good experiences and have actually been paid, yet I'm baffled by the condescending tone some of the positive posters take. Non-payment from Wagner is not simply a matter of incorrect invoicing, nor does it help to be positive and try to work things out. I accepted several assignments from them, was nothing but professional, delivered on time, even when they changed the original assignment several times. I then invoiced, and heard nothing back. I've resent the invoices several times, to everyone I had contact info to, and not a single person ever responded. Yesterday, after going through their website yet again and contacting even more people, I finally got a snooty reply from their invoices department saying they had never received anything from me. I was never given a separate contact for sending invoices, in fact, no one at Wagner has ever replied to any email from me after I sent them the final files I was working on.
It's all well and good claiming that people just need to "be nice and talk things over", but first of all, if nobody is willing to talk back, that's not an option, and secondly, we have all performed a service for Wagner. We are entitled to get paid in a timely manner, and we shouldn't have to beg and plead for that. I doubt that I will ever see the money they owe me, but I will keep chasing it.
