My minimum rate is 0.04 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.08 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 20 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 10 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2010.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling, Tour Guiding, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign.

I am a Canadian court interpreter and translator, working in English, German, Russian and Spanish. I interpret and translate between German and English, my native languages, and also translate into the same from Russian and Spanish.

Having grown up speaking English and German and having received a completely bilingual education from Kindergarten up to the university level, I am in a unique position to navigate not only between the two languages, but also between their respective cultural and literary spaces.

At university, I specialized in Russian and Spanish, graduating with a First Class Honours BA. Studying these two quite different languages and cultures served to round out my education as a translator; in addition, I gained considerable practical experience living and working as a translator and interpreter in Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Germany and Ukraine. I am now engaged in full-time translation and interpretation work while continuing to study languages in my spare time.

The most extensive portion of my professional experience has been in the fields of criminal law, contract law and marketing (tourism and business), but I am always open to new topics and love to take on a variety of assignments. Although I began translating and interpreting full-time only recently, I have been consistently active in the field for over six years and have gathered a broad spectrum of relevant education and experience.
