I recently left a job as a Front of House/Guest Service Supervisor at Holiday Inn Express Hammersmith, where I had the opportunity to carry on with my studies while covering a full-time job for the past two years and a half.

I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for the past 7 years, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese and English at the University of Oriental Studies in Naples, one year studying as a self-educated while travelling the world and the last two years attending classes at SOAS, University of London.

I am studying for HSK exams, so that they can be incentives on a CV and a good way to keep up with the linguistic changes a language as Mandarin requires. Due to my ambition, I will be moving to China in a week where I will be studying full time Mandarin.

However, Chinese is not the only language I speak and write, as for the past 15 years I have been educated academically and daily in French, Spanish, German and English: this is what makes me versatile in my everyday work-life.

In my three-year and half experience in the touristic environment I have often covered the translation role as I am versatile in the languages I know, in translating documents and reports, as well as reviews and guests' comments. Those opportunities were a great way to keep training myself on translation, which is my greatest passion.
