Forum for Translators: Easytranslate - scammer
Dear colleagues, I'm posting this to warn you about a ProZ member who is really a scammer. I've informed ProZ.com, providing more than enough evidence for them to delete their account, but no action has been taken and the profile can still be seen in their member's list. This means they still have access to all of us, and can send massive mails to recruit translators to work for them (and not pay for their services). They have recently been banned there due to non-payment reports. They owed me 500.00 from August 2018. Michalina Krogulezka and Kasper Bengtsson-Jensen ignore my email or promice to pay "later"
I sent several email to owner of the company Peter Ladegaard, but he has not helped.

I agree. I have had several payment-related and other problems with this company. One time the vendor management honcho in Poland wanted to reduce my fee simply because the client wasn't happy, before even checking the quality of the job. When you try to contact vendor management or accounts, it takes weeks for them to get back to you.
Yes, I am currently involved in a cofusing situation with this company.
The delivery of a job was denied and, after I supplied specifics and asked for clarification, there has been no reply as yet. We have cooperated for several years with this company without problems but are now forced to decline further jobs until this is sorted out. Doing translation in Memsource, a CAT program, one works in the client´s system and the "delivery" is simply a notice that the job has been concluded. When a job has been picked up, it can be erased from the assignment list, and then the translator has no documentation to show that the job was actually done and "delivered". This is what happened here. Three employees at their HQ have been involved, won´t identify them here, but I do suggest caution when dealing with this company.
I ma also grazing a problem with them.
I have been working with them for a few years with no problems.... but I think they're out of business, the contact people no longer reply and their info@ e-mail has been disabled.. didn't survive the covid-19 dip I suppose...? Regards, Vincent
