Questionnaire final reminder: literary translators on role and technology
Hello!
This is just a reminder that the questionnaire aimed at literary translators I posted here a few weeks ago will close on Wednesday 31 October. If you are a literary translator and would still like to take part in the study, you can access it via this link: https://hw.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/literary-translators-perceptions-of-their-roles-and-attit-3
More info below or on the first page of the questionnaire.
---------------------------------------------------------
My name is Paola Ruffo and I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies in Scotland (CTISS), Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
We are conducting a questionnaire on ‘Literary translators’ perceptions of their roles and attitudes towards technology in contemporary society'. We would like to invite all literary translators among you to take part in our study.
The purpose of the study is to develop a deeper understanding of the human and technological factors at play in the field of literary translation by giving literary translators the opportunity to share their personal narratives of (1) their role in contemporary society and (2) their attitudes towards technologies. We would be extremely interested to hear about your views on these topics.
The questionnaire will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete.
If you require any further information on the questionnaire or the overall research project, feel free to contact me!
Best,
Paola Ruffo
