My first experience in translation was when I started working after university in 2010 with an exporting company in Monterrey, Mexico where I conducted translation and proofreading (Spanish to English) of commercial documents including product labels, specifications and catalog and other documents (regarding the organic food industry) sent to clients. In this position, I learned business (sales, logistics, international commerce) terminology and the agricultural industry in both Spanish and English to help reach the international organic food market.

Now as a freelancer based in Mexico City since the last months of 2010, I have been providing translation services to various companies. I am very passionate in everything that I do related to the Spanish language and I assure to work very close with you to make sure that you get the type of translation you are looking for. With over 300K words translated this year, I have the following experience:

- Legal: contracts, proposals, and those of regulations and rulings
- Commercial: business presentations, financial reports, summaries and proposals
- Technical: (pharmaceutical and engineering lab reports)
- Transcribed interviews and questionnaire responses

Spanish being spoken throughout the Americas, each region has its own variation (vocabulary, meanings, etc) enriching the language. Therefore, I always look to give special attention to Latin American and European Spanish with cross-cultural perspective, since already holding a BA degree in Spanish (language, linguistics and literature), living in Mexico for almost 2 years and using this language every day; I am also knowledgeable of the Latin American cultures. Living in Mexico, I have come to learn and love the Mexican culture, and is also the way I speak.
