Details of the project: It’s a long-term project and the translation will be related to an electronic vehicle in-car system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional written translation / review / QA from source language to target language.
- Proactively search for reference materials, follow instructions and raise valid queries during translation.
- Do final check to avoid low-level mistakes according to PM's requirements.
- Implement feedback if any.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a translator and solid background in localization market with proven experience in automobile in-car system UI, experience in other kinds of documents (user manuals, technical documents, etc.) in automobile area.
- Proficiency in English and a degree in a translation related major, or certification by a global organization such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC, etc would be a plus.
- Proficiency in using Trados, accept our internal translation system.
- Be familiar with linguistic and cultural customs of the mother tongue-speaking country.
- Curious, quick learner and attentive to details.
- Quick response, accept tasks in tight schedules.
