Vandu Language Services was setup at the end of 1999 to provide community interpreting to the public sector in Sussex, currently providing these services in more than 110 languages by working with more 1700 freelance associates based in UK. We hold a formal contract to provide interpreting, translation, and health and social care advocacy for all Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex public sectors including health departments.
Vandu has achieved much in the last 12 years by empowering communities to integrate to the wider main stream society through learning and development; this remains at the centre of our mission.
In the course of our work we have managed to help some truly talented individuals to build careers based on the Vandu philosophy and they in turn are helping their communities to serve the wider society.
