Duties:
--Provide operational contract linguist support to U.S. Army operations in Afghanistan

-- Perform document exploitation
-- Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information

Details of the project: USAID plans to deploy 90 Foreign Service Limited officers to Afghanistan by the end of 2009, and is looking for strong development and technical professionals for positions throughout the country. Candidates must be identified by early November and will undergo up to 6 weeks of training before deployment to Afghanistan.

Details of the project: I am currently seeking a full time Pashto Translator for a position in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. You will be responsible for translating documents and/or interpretation for the US Government.

You will receive a generous salary along with $7,000 in deployment bonuses, as well as, full medical and dental benefits. We will pay for you to bring 3000 lbs of your household goods and your car. You will be given 10-paid holidays and 12-paid vacation days. This contract holds a 1-year commitment with the option to extend, after your first year you will be enrolled in our profit sharing program.
