NeoOffice: OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X
NeoOffice solves this problem by using Java to allow OO.o to run natively (directly) on Mac OS X, and it even offers some features that OO.o doesn't. Some of these features are especially interesting to translators; for example, while OO.o requires you to specially configure an "international" keyboard, NeoOffice will use any keyboard layout that you use, and it can even switch keyboard layouts while it's running. NeoOffice is also better integrated than OO.o with other Mac OS X applications. The Mac OS X finder can automatically launch NeoOffice when you click on an OO.o or MS Word document or e-mail attachment, and NeoOffice will let you cut and paste between itself and other Mac OS X applications. NeoOffice supports all 40 languages included in OO.o 1.1.3, and its FAQ file is available in Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Vietnamese.
