I have over 25 years of experience interpreting/translating from Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian into English and vice-versa.

WORK EXPERIENCE

I first started working as an interpreter/translator in 1996 at an EU diplomatic mission in Bosnia, and later went on to work for UN and NATO peacekeeping corps in Bosnia 1998 - 2010.
I also worked as an interpreter/translator for a number of Bosnian and Australian organisations from 2004 to date:

- 2 Bosnian non-profits (one in a disability sector, and the other in economic relations sector)

MISCELLANEOUS

Apart from these, I translated and proofread a museum monograph published in Bosnia from Bosnian into English language.

I also translated a training manual/textbook for Bosnian GPs and medical practitioners, developed by a Swiss healthcare foundation, from English into Bosnian languages.


TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY

I interpret both consecutively and simultaneously, and have interpreted at meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences.

In terms of translation, I have strong attention to detail (in terms of correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and style), and a high level of keyboard skills (65-70 wpm).
Depending on the complexity of text, I can translate in average 4-7 pages per hour (one A4 page of text).
