But I prefer to work at 0.09 Euro per source word.

And my minimum charge per document is 20 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

Having spent the past 9 years living in the UK, Thailand (1 year) and the USA, I have worked for private as well as governmental global organizations such as World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Innovation Norway and Across the Pond LLC to name but a few. All of these positions have required substantial amounts of linguistic work, including content writing, transcriptions, translation or proof reading.

Having also studied Journalism and English in the UK, Norway and the USA respectively, my multicultural background and experience enables me to confidently handle a wide array of translation tasks. At WWF I specialized in Natural science, while at Innovation Norway I mostly translated within the field of technology. Lastly, my work at Across the Pond was education related. In addition to these full time positions I have worked as a freelance translator/transcriber since 2011 for various companies such as Lancaster, UK based Language Insight, Sony and Nokia.

I always believed that the best translations are never noticeable, and it is my opinion that too many translation jobs today are either sloppy or simply sound "too translated". This is of course partly due to strict timelines and/or underpaid translators, but it can also be a consequence of translators lacking the necessary cultural exposure that is required to fully understand the target Language. I intend to reverse this trend by providing accurate, creative translations through cultural awareness, experience and hard work.
