My minimum rate is 0.05 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.06 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 25 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 25 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2002.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling, Voice-over.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

I am a sworn translator.

I have worked as a language translator and interpreter in a variety of settings for 20 years now, in Kinyarwanda/French/English fields. Having an excellent knowledge of Kinyarwanda language and culture, I am capable of providing clear, accurate and natural English or French translation in all settings.

Through trainings and practice in a large translation team for 12 continuous years, I have acquired excellent knowledge and skills in written translation process, mainly from English to Kinyarwanda and vice versa, as I have worked on various projects: books and booklets, magazines and brochures, public talks, drama and video scripts, reports and contracts.

I have been trained in the art of public speaking and over the years I have assumed consecutive and simultaneous interpretations duties for many visiting experts, journalists, lawyers and researchers in conferences, sites visits, research interviews, workshops and trainings, all of this in English/French/Kinyarwanda. Whether in a meeting or a conference, interpreting takes precision skills and the ability to work in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environments, and requires a combination of knowledge with quick thinking; I am good at that.

I have a passion towards languages and love working with them. I enjoy being a professional capable of connecting people together through language, especially when you are directly involved in the process of providing understanding. Every conference, appointment and meeting I attend as an interpreter is an exercise in breaking down a language barrier. And taking part of the process that leads to understanding is one of the most important reasons why I enjoy translating and interpreting.
