I am a native speaker of Portuguese.

My minimum rate is 0.02 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.03 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 8 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 10 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2018.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Subtitling.

By today, I have translated about 500,000 to 1,000,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados.

I am best in the following fields: Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Electronics, Engineering (General), General, Industry and Technology (General), Journalism, Literature / Poetry, Machinery & Tools, Science (General).

I am not a sworn translator.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

I believe that with my somewhat peculiar background and collection of skills, I can be of great use to this role. Growing up, I traveled around the world with my parents and visited more than a dozen countries, especially English-speaking areas. This, combined with a natural love of and talent for languages, allowed me to pick up and attain fluency in English. I would develop and expand this ability even further throughout my education and working career. The nuances of language fascinate me, and to be able to have work that allows me to explore them and marinate in them every day would be a true pleasure and a privilege.
I completed and received a bachelor's degree in Translation from UFPE, specializing in English > Portuguese-Br Translation and after it, I completed a postgraduate degree also in Translation. Beyond this, I can also speak fluent Spanish. Indeed, I regularly read books in these languages to maintain my fluency in them. This experience has provided me with a solid grasp of various regional dialects and customs. I have a firm grasp of the Portuguese and English languages with an understanding of proper sentence structure, grammar rules, and vocabulary. I can be relied on to translate technical documents like corporate earnings reports, instruction manuals for products, forecasts of upcoming market trends, academic articles, software, IT, and Technology. I can also translate more colloquial material, like e-mails, marketing, and advertising.
