I was specifically taught to translate legal documents & paperwork at university (I have a B.L. degree with knowledge of English and Dutch from Moscow State University of International Relations). Also, I have spent more than a year working as a freelance translator for a company engaged with matters of enrollment of Russian students to foreign universities and dealing with visa procedures. Besides that, I have worked for three months as a subtitles editor for the deaf and hard of hearing, which made me familiar with close captioning.
