My minimum rate is 0.06 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.10 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 10 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2010.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 50,000 to 100,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

I am best in the following fields: Arts and Humanities, Education / Pedagogy, Finance / Economics, Folklore, Food / Nutrition, General, History, Linguistics, Literature / Poetry, Localization, Religion, Science (General), Travel & Tourism.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

I am a native speaker of both Dutch and English as well as a university trained linguist and philologist with almost 4 years working experience as a translator, glossator and interpreter.

I have always had a great love and feel for languages, which resulted in me obtaining a degree in Celtic languages and culture with minors in comparative Indo-European linguistics and Germanic linguistics at the universities of Utrecht and Leiden. It is during this time that I was extensively trained in the art of translation, gained deep insight into the nature and workings of the languages I studied (focussing more and more on the Germanic languages) as well as my own native languages.

I have consequently gained a lot of experience in how to put my knowledge and skills into practice in the real world through the jobs I have had since, working as a language coach, an interpreter and a glossator and translator. My translation have been praised by clients for both their accuracy and neatness as well as my clear feel for and understanding of the languages I work with. Because I am a native speaker of both Dutch and English I am able to accurately transfer the meaning of the source text while keeping closely in mind the character of the target language, and to thus produce clear and colloquially accurate translations.
