I was born in Canton, China. I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese, and have near native command of English. I have a B.A. (1999) and M.A. (2003) degree, both in English Language and Culture, from top universities in China. In 2004 I moved to the United States, and received (in 2009) a Ph.D. in TESOL from the University of Kansas.

I have been working as a freelance translator since 1998, and have successfully completed numerous translation projects for Fortune 500 companies, governmental organizations, professional associations and individuals all over the world.
