I\\\'m a Chinese citizen currently based in UK. Holding an MA on Simultaneous Interpreting and Translation from Newcastle University, I have received extensive professional interpreting and translation training in various fields. In July, I was accepted by United Nations Office in Vienna for a simultaneous interpreting placement and was granted with a certificate for my excellent performance. Since graduation, I have been working as a freelance interpreter & translator providing services including simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting and translation. I have completed several successful cases with some high profile clients such as Cisco, IVSC and China Telecom.

Before my degree, I worked in China as a freelance and in-house translator/interpreter for four years, covering areas including IT projects, business and education. Besides exceptional interpreting competence, my prior work experience prepared me with excellent communication and coordination skills. I believe both will prove to be important for me to carry out any translating or interpreting assignment successfully.
