Productive Playhouse is a production company specializing in transcription and research for talk-to-text technology. We are currently seeking native Kachin speakers to work as language verifiers for an ongoing transcription project.
Role description:
Language verifiers’ duties include creating language verification tests, quality control of existing language verification tests, evaluating language test submissions, and doing quality control on audio and video files.
Language verifiers create language verification tests following detailed instructions that will be provided upon employment. The nature of the role is ongoing and project-based. The workload is dependent on project needs. Payment is based on work completed at the rates listed below.
Language verification test creation - $150, one time fee.
Language verification test assessment - $50, one time fee.
Language verification test review - $15 per review.
Audio quality control - $1 per link reviewed.
Please note: not all tasks may be available depending on the language.
