Details of the project: Visual Data Media Services (VDMS) is a subtitling and localization services provider for prominent motion picture studios and streaming networks.
We are looking for freelance subtitle translators / editors who can create subtitles in their native language for a variety of film, television, and streaming content.

Special requirements to the applicants: Roles and Responsibilities will be as below:
• Translating and Proofreading subtitles from English <> Native Language pair.
• Creation of subtitles in Native Language from provided script.
• Quality Checks in order to conform to specified requirements.
Experience and Competencies:
• Experience related to Translation and/or Subtitling.
• Be comfortable with computer-friendly editing.
• Strong knowledge and writing skills in English and Native Language.
• High attention to detail, and responsibility for quality and delivery of work.
Flexibility and resourcefulness:
• Works well under tight deadlines.
• Willing to take a Proficiency Test.
• Responsive and is accessible through phone, e-mail, skype etc.
• Willingness to learn to use our software, to familiarize themselves with guidelines, and to successfully complete our training program.
• Must be willing to keep us posted on availability (holidays, inactivity periods).
Kindly note, as this is freelance work, a steady amount of work cannot be guaranteed, however, candidates should be available for at least 3 consecutive days per week.
