I am a Slovenian translator with an excellent command of English and Italian - I come from a bilingual area where Italian is the second official language. I have a Bachelor's degree in Interlingual Communication (Slovenian- English - Italian) and a Master's degree in Translation (Slovenian- English - Italian) from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

My professional experience includes a position as Translator and administrative assistant at Poklicni center Obala, a private institution specialized in vocational education and training, which is based in Koper, Slovenia. My main task was the development of project proposals for European and national calls for application and translation from English and Italian into Slovenian (and vice versa).

In addition to that, I completed the following translation traineeships:
- a five-month traineeship at the Slovenian language unit of the DG of the Council of the EU: EU texts,
- a three-month traineeship at the Rectorate of the University of Primorska: regulations, reports
- a two-week traineeship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia: press releases.

I also have considerable experience in translation and proofreading as a freelancer, particularly of business, marketing, legal and academic texts. I am able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. I have very good organisational skills, a professional approach and a high level of adaptability.
