As a Korean, I am very proud of cultural feats that korean film and music industries are making. As such, if I get a translating job such as subtitling Korean tv shows or films in English, I would jump at it with more enthusiasm than any other professional translators.

When I was in secondary school, I used to translate Korean novels just for pure entertainment without publishing them. I would then show them to my international friends and most of the time, they really loved it.
