My minimum rate is 0.06 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.10 Euro per source word.

And my minimum charge per document is 30 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2010.

I provide the following services: Proofreading, Subtitling, Copywriting, DTP, Web-Design, Advertising, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 500,000 to 1,000,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados.

A graduate of Oxford University, I read Japanese for 5 years, which included a 6 month period at Kansai Gakuin in 2006 and a year at Osaka University in 2009-10 when I received and studied under the MEXT scholarship.
During my degree I translated economic and historical works as well as linguistic and literary works, which included a number of short stories by Shiga Naoya, and novels by Dazai Osamu and Ariyoshi Sawako. I wrote my thesis on historical economic analysis of Japanese markets.
In my time working as a professional translator since 2010 I have dealt with academic research papers (in the areas of economics, history, sociology, linguistics, nursing, and more), legal contracts, booklets/guidebooks, product manuals, financial documents (such as annual/monthly reports and Board of Director documents), and powerpoints/keynotes for business conferences in retail and mining, in academia and for international bodies such as the Red Cross.
