My published Japanese-to-English translations include the books "The Postwar Japanese Economy: Its Development and Structure" by Takafusa Nakamura (former Professor of Economics, Univ. of Tokyo, and former Director-General of Economic Research Institute, Economic Planning Agency of Japan); "The Era of High-Speed Growth" by Yutaka Kosai (former head of Price Adjustment Div., Economic Planning Agency of Japan, and former Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology); and "Business Aspects of the Kyoto Hanamachi" by Kumiko Nishio (Assoc. Professor, Kyoto Women's Univ.), published full-length as an entire issue of the journal "The Japanese Economy." I also co-authored (with Hiroshi Hazama, former Professor of Economics, Waseda Univ.) and translated "Japanese Labor-Management Relations and Uno Riemon," an article published in The Journal of Japanese Studies; and translated from French into English the book "The Self Besieged: Figures of the Emigre in Contemporary Arab Literature" by Amor Cherni (Professor of Philosophy, Blaise Pascal Univ.
