My minimum rate is Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.06 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 15 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 3 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2017.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Subtitling.

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Aegisub.

I am best in the following fields: Art / Crafts / Painting, Arts and Humanities, Cinema (Film, TV, Drama), Ecology & Environment, Folklore, Food / Nutrition, General, Literature / Poetry, Music, Travel & Tourism.

I am not a sworn translator.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

I have several years’ experience in Japanese-English translation and proofreading.

As a commercial translator, I have been a valued member of the intern team at SakeWiz, a Tokyo-based ‘sake tourism’ company for over a year. Being a native English speaker with an excellent level of fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1, BA Japanese Studies, MA Translation Studies), I have helped SakeWiz to reach a global audience, working alongside Japanese colleagues and interns from across East Asia to deliver high-quality translations. I also produce translations for SakeWiz’ English-language social media accounts.

I have also provided voluntary translation for Translators without Borders and for major cultural festivals in the Kantō region of Japan.

Since graduating with Distinction from my MA Translation Studies programme, I have been active as a freelance translator and provided translation for many exciting projects in a variety of fields, including the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress and International Performing Arts Festival for Children and Young People.
