My minimum rate is 0.05 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.07 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 15 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2007.

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Wordfast.

I am best in the following fields: Architecture, Arts and Humanities, Building & Construction, European Union, Government / Politics, History, Social Science.

I am not a sworn translator.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

I love languages and especially my own ! Which is a guarantee for a good translation ... Fluent in German, that I have learned since the age of 11, and lived 3 years in Berlin.

I'm graduated in political sciences (Grenoble, Paris), with a specialization in macro-economics (1996). Then I obtained a M.A. in Urban studies (Berlin), with a specialisation in ancient and middle ages history, urban networks theory and postmodernity. (2009).

As a former civil servant working for local governments for about 20 years (1999-2019), I have a strong background in politics and public policy, but also in urban planing, urban development and architecture, law and rights, networks, economy and management.

As a former Executive manager and Chief of Staff, I am reliable and know the value of commitment and observation of deadlines.

I can handle a pretty large spectum of issues. Never hesitate to propose a translation to me, which doesn't seem to be in my speciality. I am curious and I possess a large number of references. Be also aware that I can adapt my work for what is given as regards time and money : Cheap and fast or qualitative (even if I prefer the latter). I know a lot of tricks to translate the rarest expressions and even the worst written pages get a new shape.

I normally can translate about 2000-3000 words a day.
