My name is Maria Rybak.
I am a professional translator. I graduated from Perm State University (PSU), Russia, in 2002 with the qualification of Philologist, Teacher of English and Translator. I also finished English specialized school in 1997 and went to England as an exchange student.
I worked as a senior teacher of English at Saint Petersburg Institute of Economics and Law, Perm branch. Since 2005 I have been working as a teacher of English with the best known language centre in Perm, Russia, teaching English to different top-managers, including preparation for the TOEFL exam.
I have been working as a translator for fifteen years now – for companies and as a freelancer. I translate into both directions: from English to Russian and from Russian to English.
In 1997-2009 I worked first as a volunteer and then as a part-time guide and
interpreter with the Department of International Relations of PSU (there is an
exchange programme between PSU and Oxford University).
