I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 1996.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Subtitling.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

My name is Anka Bizjak Gale. After I finished elementary school I went to the High school for social sciences and general culture. I graduated in 1989. I studied Slovene language with literature, Comparative literature and Librarianship at the University of Ljubljana. Unfortunately, I didn’t finish my studies with a degree. I visited English course in 1995 in London at Eurocentres and in 1996 and 1997 English course in Santa Monica at ELS. I was a student at L.A.C.C. from 1999 to 2000. I studied German at the University of Ljubljana and I passed the exam.

I translated three books from English to Slovene: Health is in your hands, The Alternative Advisor and First Aid. All are bestsellers in Slovenia. I speak English, Italian, German, Croatian, French and some Spanish. I know how to use Windows, internet and e-mails. I worked in the bookstore for 6 months and I have some experience with telemarketing. I like reading, traveling, movies, and theater.
