I have always been willing to volunteer when needed for multitude of tasks including going on long
missions(mounted and dismounted patrols), Translating documents both (pashto and Dari to English, and
English to Pashto and Dari), and participating in important meetings with government officials or high ranking
US Army and Afghan Army officers and as a cultural adviser. During important meetings and conferences
as a cultural adviser i was trying to uphold a positive atmosphere and good relationship between US forces
and Afghan forces. I played key role at OCC-P (Operation Coordination Center) of khost (Matun hill) where
intelligence reports from across the province were translated, I was the only translator who knew typing of
pashto and Dari, I was translating and typing them in computer both (pashto and Dari to English, and English
to Pashto and Dari).
