I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2022.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Passolo, Google Translate, DeepL.

I am a second year English student in the concentration of English Language Teaching at University American College Skopje, where English is an important part of my academic daily life.
Since December 2022, I have been translating from English to Macedonian and vice versa for the course "Preparation for Translation and Interpretation" and course syllables for the university.
From my experience, I believe that word for word translation is a bad practice that results in inaccurate translations riddled with errors. To ensure quality and accuracy, I believe that every translator should research any specialized terminology, idioms, or cultural differences in the communication in the source language and attempt to connect them with the target language in order to convey the original message. I also believe that going over the entire text again is critical. The number of errors is reduced by proofreading to ensure proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
