MY STORY:
My name is Ambra Cavallaro. I am an Italian editorial and audiovisual translator, strongly committed to the fields of languages, accessibility and culture.

Currently I subtitle movies, TV shows and documentaries for deaf and hard-of-hearing (RAI - Italian public television). Moreover I localize and optimize (SEO) web contents since 2008 and I translated a non-fiction book (DE>IT) for Goodfellas Edizioni, released in October 2019. ("Oltre il Muro di Berlino").

I have been living in Berlin since 2008, where I studies for my Master Degree in Media Studies (TU Berlin). Moreover, I have a Bachelor Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation (La Sapienza, Rome) and I attended a Professional Master Course in Audiovisual Translation (SSML San Domenico, Rome).
