I have been working for 30 yrs as a research agronomist, mainly in post-harvest physiology and pathology of vegetables, establishment and maintenance of quality management systems, and acheivment of compliance with international quality standards. My job provided me with wide perspective of those fields, which enabled me, after studying translation for two years, to work quite successfully as a freelance translator, specializing in those fields mentioned elsewhere in this profile.
