Profile requirements:
Transcriber: fluent in at least two languages including your native language, listen to live proceedings or audio and video recordings to create written versions of them.
Subtitling: fluent in at least two languages including your native language, by hearing you translate all the dialogue, music and sound effects of a video or script into written captions to appear on screen.
Requirements:
• Highly fluency in at least two languages (native would be preferred)
• Have at least one year transcribing/subtitling experience
• Must work with MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and PDF software
• Familiar to use translation / transcribing / subtitling software
• With the ability to work in fast paced environment
• Able to work on free-lance and flexible hours
Details of the project: Appen, a language and information technology company, is currently looking for professional transcriptionist and skilled Spanish bilinguals who lives in USA for the project, Neshota.
The goal is to produce highly accurate transcriptions of call-center speech combined with annotation mark-up. We will provide you with Guidelines for how to transcribe and annotate the audio.
The data will be used to develop better AI-powered speech recognition for US Spanish.
