Details of the project: Profile 1 – AI Conversation Dataset Creation
Candidates will support the creation of high-quality conversational datasets for AI/LLM training.
Responsibilities may include:
Creating natural multi-turn conversations in the target language
Developing prompts, scenarios and appropriate responses
Creating realistic user personas and conversational situations
Writing across formal, colloquial, administrative and vernacular contexts
Ensuring grammatical, contextual and cultural accuracy
Producing natural native-language content rather than literal translations
Incorporating regional expressions, idioms and socio-cultural nuances
Participating in project training, feedback and correction cycles
Candidates selected for Profile 1 may be required to attend approximately 2–3 days of hands-on training, if requested by the project team.
Profile 2 – AI Model Response Validation / Linguistic Analyst
Candidates will evaluate and validate AI/LLM-generated responses.
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing AI-generated responses for linguistic accuracy
Assessing contextual relevance and naturalness
Identifying semantic drift and vocabulary mismatches
Detecting grammatical and stylistic inconsistencies
Evaluating cultural appropriateness
Identifying factual inconsistencies and potential AI hallucinations
Checking adherence to source prompts/instructions
Categorising linguistic/model errors
Participating in HITL linguistic evaluation, calibration and feedback activities
Qualification & Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with:
MA/PhD or other relevant postgraduate qualifications, particularly in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics/Translation, Translation Studies, Indian Languages or related disciplines
Native/near-native proficiency in the target language
Strong English proficiency
Strong linguistic, grammatical and analytical skills
Professional translation, review, content creation or linguistic QA experience
For Profile 2, prior experience in AI/NLP, LLM evaluation, chatbot evaluation, prompt evaluation, AI data annotation, linguistic QA or model-response validation will be highly preferred.
Experienced language professionals with highly relevant AI/linguistic backgrounds but different academic qualifications may also apply; final selection will be subject to the prescribed screening criteria.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will undergo profile/academic verification and a language/linguistic assessment, followed by project training where applicable.
