Details of the project: We are currently preparing for a highly specialized project in the field of patents translation and are looking for experienced translators with strong technical backgrounds and proven patent translation experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Translate telecommunications-related patent documents, including:
- Computer Technology
- AI
- Audio and Video Processing
- Cloud Computing
2. Ensure technical accuracy, logical consistency, and compliance with patent drafting conventions.
3. Follow provided terminology, style guides, and QA requirements.
4. Collaborate with reviewers or QA teams and address reasonable revision requests when required.

Special requirements to the applicants: Mandatory Requirements:
1. Native speaker of German with fluent or near-native proficiency in English.
2. Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Network Security, or other related engineering disciplines.
- Provide evidence of relevant patent industry experience is a plus
3. At least 3 years of experience (or 500,000+ words) in patent translation.
4. Thorough understanding of patent document structures, particularly the distinction between claims and specifications.
