Details of the project: American Translation Partners is a well-known provider of interpreters, translators, and language experts. We are currently seeking Haitian interpreters and translators for medical, legal and insurance assignments throughout New England. The greatest demand is for healthcare interpreters in the Southern Massachusetts area.
The types of projects will include:
• Consecutive Healthcare Interpreting for Medical assignments for emergency rooms, independent medical exams, physical exams, and other types of medical procedures
• Legal interpreting in the consecutive and simultaneous mode
• Audio transcription / translation, summarization of telephone taps, body wires, and focus groups
• Document translation
• Expert / fact witness testimonials
• Insurance assignments for recorded statements, examinations under oath

Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:
• Native or primary language fluency in Haitian
• Written and oral comprehension in English
• Legal to work in the USA
• Preference towards those linguists with certification by a national, valid, credible, and vendor-neutral certification program for healthcare interpreters
Other helpful abilities:
• Specialization in legal, medical or other areas of consecutive and simultaneous interpreting
• Educational background in linguistics
• State and Federal Court Certifications, American Translation Association (ATA) accreditation, or any other kinds of professional language training
• Transportation and willing to travel around New England - Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont
We want to pay for this job: 50 EUR per hour
