This project aims to provide language-specific linguistic guidance to help improve TTS voice quality.
Required qualifications:
• Native speaker of Gulf Arabic (Saudi Arabia, UAE), Standard Arabic (Saudi Arabia, UAE), Najdi & Hijazi Arabic varieties preferred.
• Degree in Linguistics, preferably phonology and phonetics
• Proficiency with narrow phonetic transcription using either IPA or, preferably, X-SAMPA
• Must have a decent English-speaking skill
• Experience in working in recording studio and with speech recordings
• Conducting voice training is a plus.
