Details of the project: Hi,
There are multiple small 1 minute tasks (hits) running into hundreds.
There are three different types of tasks - variable tasks, phrase modification and Qc tasks. Attached are the instructions.
Special Instructions:
• We’ll need to perform the tasks through Amazon’s platform known as MTurk. Here is the link to their platform: https://www.mturk.com/get-started • Linguist will need to perform the various tasks and complete them.
• We will need to set up linguists to have access to their system and create an individual worker account and provide their Worker ID so that we can get it white listed by Amazon. This must be done in order to work on the tasks.
• The linguists will need to take a short test within their system to be qualified for “HITs” or tasks to be assigned to them.
• The linguists will be assigned “HITs” on their dashboard and they will need to successfully complete them in a timely manner.
• There are multiple types of tasks and specific details and examples have been provided in the attached documents.
• Amazon will then either approve or reject the tasks completed.
• Amazon will send a weekly report of the linguist scores and yield.
• We will need to review this report and provide feedback to improve the quality and/or throughput yield.
• Note: Translators can only be paid for Approved tasks. Rejected tasks will not be paid for by Amazon.
