Responsibilities
1. Translate documents from English into Japanese precisely and accurately, maintaining message content and context.
2. Run quality assurance spot checks.
3. Perform other translation, review, proofread, and quality tasks assigned.
4. Follow ethical codes that protect data or information linked to the client.
5. Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words and concepts.
6. Prepare evaluation sheets & reports for translators.
7. Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and computerized terminology banks as needed to be sure that translation process is accurate.
8. Assemble terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms.
9. Adapt software and accompanying technical documents/materials to another language and culture.
10. Support and maintain ongoing relationships with internal customers.
11. Support our clients by providing expert advice and respond to their questions related to translation projects.
12. Establish a terminology database to be used in translation projects.
13. Respond to client feedbacks.
14. Implement client feedbacks.
15. Attend Project Kickoff meetings.
16. Contribute to setting department policies and plans.
17. Perform other tasks as required by management to facilitate running business in the department including, but not limited to, transcription, trans-creation, transliteration.

Special requirements to the applicants: Education & Work Experience Requirements:
Candidate should meet at least one of the following criteria:
a) Holds graduate qualification in translation, language or linguistic from recognized institution of higher education:
b) Holds recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus Two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) Two years of full-time professional experience in reviewing.
