Lie on your back, with your knees bent and feet flat on the mat.
Step 2:
Spread your knees far apart, so you feel a stretch in the muscles in the groin.
2) Sitting in Chair Hamstring Stretch:
Step 1: Sit at the front of a chair keeping your back straight.
Step 2: With assistance from the right hand, pick the left hand up and place it flat on the right leg.
Push down gently on the left hand with the right hand.
Step 3:
Lean forward by keeping your back straight, until you feel the stretch in the back of the thigh.
Return back to the starting position.
3) Hamstring Stretch: Long Sitting
Step 1:
Sit on a mat, facing to the left with the left leg and knee straightened out.
Make sure that the back of the thigh and knee are resting flat on the mat.
The right foot is resting on the floor.
Step 2: Place the left hand flat on the left leg with assistance from the right hand, and gently push down on the left hand with the right hand.
