Details of the project: PRESTO Translation and Language Centre is one of the leading translation companies in the Czech Republic with extensive international experience of translating for such respected organisations as UNESCO, the European Parliament, the European Committee of the Regions, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and many others.

At present PRESTO intends to take part in the renewal of the tender for the European Commission, and we are looking for professional freelance native-speaking translators and proofreaders from Romanian into English for a long-term cooperation. Therefore, we would like to invite you to take part in this tender with us.

The minimum level of qualification set by the European Commission for translators / revisers / reviewers is the following:

• a university degree in translation or languages (after studies of at least 3 years), and
• at least 2 years of full-time translation experience or having translated at least 2 000 pages;
or
• a university degree in any other subject (after studies of at least 3 years), and
• at least 3 years of full-time translation experience or having translated at least 3 000 pages.

At least half of the translating experience of the translators, revisers and reviewers must have been in European or international affairs or in national, European or international public administration for the language combination tendered for.

Please note, that SDL Trados is obligatory for this project.
