We are looking for freelance translators for Punjabi
to work on frequent premium projects for our clients.
Freelance translators and proofreaders from English to Punjabi are urgently required
Please find below the Role and Responsibilities:
Translating from English into Punjabi for our client’s projects
Proofreading and editing client-provided materials
Conforming existing scripts / subtitle files to precise specifications of various clients
Education background and experience:
Native speaker of Punjabi
Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the English language
Translation Experience of 0 to 30 yrs.
Possess a Degree/ Diploma in either of the below courses:
o Translation/ Translation studies/Subtitling
o Literature/ Formal education in Punjabi or Sanskrit
o Arts or Journalism
o Proofreading/ Editing experience
o Teaching/Facilitation/Any other similar background
Keen interest in the entertainment industry / movies, especially North American cinema and television
Required skills:
A thorough knowledge of MS-Office is a must
Ability to type on the computer in Punjabi is a must
Be Independent and work on the projects on your own ONLY
Excellent time management
Prompt and responsive, we will be able to give more work basis your performance and availability
Other requirements:
Flexible work timings
Windows computer with 4 GB RAM and stable internet connection with minimum download speed of 4 MBPS
Must have access to a private computer/laptop. We discourage working on our client material over office / public computers / laptops. Access will not be granted.
