Details of the project: Translators Family sp. z o.o., a translation agency with the office in Warsaw, Poland, invites freelance Russian to English translators and editors to join our team.
We’re looking for the linguists only with proven experience. You should be the native speaker of English to apply.
We expect to offer the first job in December. It will be the translation, editing and proofreading of a document from Russian to English (British variant) with over 20,000 words. Subject – agriculture.
For this project we select the linguists on the basis of reference letters/feedback from their clients or using a small sample of the text from the project as a test.
We accept only the reference letters signed by clients or the feedback from confirmed clients on the websites such as Proz or LinkedIn.
Requirements for all language pairs:
- Advanced degree (preferably language-related) is a must
- At least 3 years’ experience in translation or editing of the texts in one or more areas of expertise listed on our website under Expertise section (for the current project we are looking for the translators with the experience in translations for agriculture sector)
- Knowledge of translation and localisation tools (Trados, Transit) or interest in learning them
Please add the following information to your letter:
- your rates per word separately for translation and proofreading
- years of experience
- areas of specialisation
- CAT tools you use
- references or feedback from your clients
