Details of the project: Dear Translators,
Due to some issues of none payment for translation work, I am looking for
certified, legal translator, who is able to:
- Assess some translation work
- attend one (or maybe more) hearings in London - concerning unpaid
translation work
- is ideally a native German speaker and specialized enough to give an
legal expert opinion.
You will be working alongside with the us representing lawyer.
Please send your quote. Keep in mind that you are representing a colleague,
who has been cheated/scammed for month of work and is unlikely to attend
himself at court, as the distance and costs are just to high.
Special requirements to the applicants: - IDEALLY: Native German, living in or around London
- MUST HAVE: legal translation authority, expertise,
e.g. court certified
- MUST work alongside the appointed lawyer
- MUST attend the hearing(s) for clarification of
translation tools, machine translation, MAHT and asses quality
of work(s)
If you can/like split this with a partner/colleague, one for the hearing,
one for proofing, this will be fine.
Amount of work, pages, formats as well as hearing dates are not
specified yet. The projects covering around 60 000 words and the
amount owed equals 3rd world income.
I assume, it not really needed,
to proof read and correct all words, a few parts of it, should allow the
required assessment(s).
Quotes should be by the whole day.
Please ignore the price per word/hour selected, as well as the dead line,
as the dead line is not set by us.
Legal proceedings (hearing(s) are expected for end of November/December this year
Payment will be settles via PayPal or by our Legal representation as agree on
terms and price.
We will pay for this job 0.08 EUR per word
