Details of the project: My name is Evan Wilson. I am a freelance German-
English translator and environmentalist. Over the
last year I have been working on establishing my
own translation firm that focuses on providing
language and publishing services to green
companies and organizations. I am currently
recruiting freelance project managers around the
globe to help complete the vision I have for Alter
Eco Translations. Instead of hiring project managers
that are centrally located in one office, I would like
to contract translation work to project managers
around the globe. With this I hope we will be able to
provide high-quality translations and other services
in an atmosphere of good and ethical business,
happy colleagues and mutual prosperity. If you are
like me, you chose this career because of the
freedom involved in freelance. If you like project
management but want to maintain your freelance
status we may have a healthy working relationship
before us.
Interested parties must also fulfill the following
criteria:
1) Fluent English capabilities and native in the other
language specified
2) Either a) a degree in translation and 2+ years
experience as a freelance translator or b) 5+ years
experience as a freelance translator
3) Project management experience in any capacity
4) You enjoy your translation career and are
motivated, friendly, customer-oriented and
professional
5) A heightened sense of business ethics and
responsibility
6) Professional background in a green industry
and/or experience with translation within the scope
of green industries.
7) Commitment to green ethics
8) 3 references (name, company info and email)
who can attest to your friendly attitude,
professionalism and translation quality
A component of this concept I am pursuing is
