Forum for Translators: Scammer: Global Speech global.speech.company2@gmail.com
Global Speech, a spin off of the notorious CV identity thieves, Languagement, are back. The crooks are mailing the following email to translators:
Goodafternoon,
I’m writing you to have further information from you.
In a while, we’ll be starting a cooperation with a client who’s a world leading manufacturer of orthopaedic implants, neurosurgical systems and instrumentation.
I’d like to know if you’re interested in this field, by considering that we’ll be starting to translate a few texts concerning spine surgery techniques.
For this reason, have you ever worked in this sector and, especially, have you ever translated any text regarding spine surgery techniques?
Do you use any CAT tool? Which is your rate per word?
If you are available, I can send you a translation test, in order to check the kind of text of the client and this will also help the client to understand if we’re able to correctly translate his text before sending us the whole documentation.
Thanks in advance for your availability.
Best regards.
