Forum for Translators: Gentle Translations

Hi,

I did a job for Gentle Translations in November and I am still unpaid.....
I sent many mails and even called but I am still waiting an answer from them.
Due to the type of answer I have got ("Who was the project Manager in charge" , the very lack of communication and the place where they are based (GAZA STRIP), I am pretty sure this is the same company as TRANSLATORSECRETS and TRANSLATORSUCCESS (which still owe me about 300 USD since NOVEMBER 2011)......Beware of those scams!

Gentle Translations is linked to both Translation Secrets and Languagemet and I would not be surprised if Purity Translations and Expert of Translations (and its numerous variants) are also connected. I would stay clear of these agencies. There is a lot of negative feedback about them on Proz.com, Translatorscafe, Linkin. Negative feedback is mostly about identity theft and not paying. Allegedly, Muchdo is also connected to them. It sounds like some kind of translation business mafia in the Gaza Strip.

Hello,

If you having pending non paid invoices, please email me the project code, PM name and email. I will forward that info to the accounting. Email me at imad (at) translationsecrets DOT com

We pay lots of translators daily. Attackers are available every time and in all places. :)
We are a reliable payer.

Hi there,

I've cooperated with this company in September 2012 and received the payment in november 2012. The payment was delayed but anyway their manger did all his best to pay me (seems they were under attack at this time).

Hi,

I am used to work for them several months now. Each month trouble with their payments. I really have to thread them to pay me. Now the start to cheat me with agreed word counts. I only can recommend: Hands off. You will lose time and money if you work with them. The other mentioned names of those scammers are well known to me. They did the same. Again: Hands off!!!!

These crooks are part of the large scamming network from Gaza (see message on SCAMMERS FROM GAZA).

They are CV identity thieves.

Beware of these scammers:

khaled@safety-translation.com, khaledtrans1@gmail.com,
omar@safety-translation.com, samer@safety-translations.com

AKA AMAZING TRANS/AMAZING TRANSLATIONS (AKA LANGUAGEMET/TRANSLATION SECRETS/GENTLE TRANSLATIONS ETC.)

Scammers & CV identity thieves!

safety-translation.com - fake agency, non-payers, liars, thieves. They stole my CV identity to get work. They stole my work and my money. The PMs are called Khaled, Ahmeed and Samer. They are crooks and scammers.

Safety Translation is a part of the Languagemet/Gentle Translations/Translation Secrets scamming group from Gaza. This group of criminals steal your CV identity to bid for jobs on TD, proz.com and other job platforms. They are also notorious non-payers. Collaborating with them is just asking for trouble.
