I have had a similar experience with Prime Table Hub Translation (phone +1 (914) 450-5449: Project manager Rebecca Wilson)
I carried out a 20-page translation for them (2 days work). I delivered the job and then they transferred me to their 'payment department (+1 (227) 251-5498).
They claimed that the money had been sent from the Bank of America to my bank, but that I had to 'link' it to the company payment server. They even sent me a PDF of the payment. It then appeared that I had to pay €120 (refundable) for the link! This now looked very much like a scam, and, after I queried it, they don't answer their phone or WhatsApp.
I'm not paying the €120, but I'm annoyed at wasting nearly 2 days on the translation.
