Agreed - stay away from Ulatus at all costs whether you're a freelancer or a translation customer.
They have a tendency to find nonexistent "quality problems" with translators' work and refuse to pay you. When asked to provide details of the quality problems, they will refuse.
The result: only translators with few or no other options will stay, resulting in poor quality translations. You get what you pay for.
Avoid.
