Non-payer Peter Ellis (UK)
Dear colleagues,
please be careful not to deal with Peter Ellis (ellis.peter@gmx.co.uk). On the 17th of September I received a translation job offer from him (Russian-English financial translation to be done by 20.09.2011) via gotranslators.com. We agreed the details (all emails are available), and he promised me to pay "1 month after delivery". I finished the work in time, with a good quality, as a week later he sent me another job. I answered that I would prefer to proceed with our cooperation after his payment for the first order. Peter Ellis agreed. On 20.10.2011 I reminded him that it was time to pay my invoice (EUR 609.60). He asked me to wait until his client pays him (October 31), and then just disappeared. Now, 2 months after delivery, he does not answer my messages. Any appeals to his decency don't work. It's very sad to lose four days of very strenuous work and six hundred Euro. Please advise what else I can do.
